Project Overview

In early 2025, a leading infrastructure development company in Southeast Asia required a rapid-deployment workforce accommodation solution for a large-scale construction site located in a remote region with limited local building resources. The client needed 48 fully furnished living units capable of housing 192 workers, together with communal facilities including a canteen, laundry area, and administrative office — all to be delivered and operational within a 6-week timeframe.

After evaluating multiple prefabricated building suppliers across Asia, the client selected our modular container housing system for its superior thermal insulation performance, plug-and-play electrical integration, and proven track record in tropical climate deployments.

Solution Delivered

We supplied a complete turnkey modular accommodation package consisting of:

  • 40 × Standard Dormitory Units (6055mm × 2990mm × 2896mm) — each configured with 4 bunk beds, individual storage lockers, LED lighting, ceiling fan, and mosquito screens on all windows
  • 4 × En-suite Supervisor Units (6055mm × 2990mm × 2896mm) — private bathroom, double bed, workstation desk, air conditioning unit, and water heater
  • 2 × Canteen/Kitchen Modules (6055mm × 4880mm × 2896mm) — commercial-grade stainless steel kitchen equipment, seating for 60 persons, ventilation system, and fire suppression
  • 1 × Laundry & Sanitation Block (6055mm × 2990mm × 2896mm) — 8 industrial washing machines, drying area, and water treatment connection
  • 1 × Site Office Module (6055mm × 2990mm × 2896mm) — air-conditioned, data cabling, and modular workstations

Results & Client Feedback

The entire 48-unit complex was delivered and fully operational in 35 days from order confirmation — a full week ahead of the client’s 42-day deadline. Key outcomes include:

  • 100% on-time delivery with zero transit damage across all 16 shipping containers
  • Installation completed in 5 days by a 6-person crew, compared to an estimated 4+ months for conventional construction
  • 60% cost savings versus traditional brick-and-mortar construction for equivalent capacity
  • Indoor temperature reduction of 4–6°C compared to standard container housing, attributed to the 50mm EPS + rock wool roof insulation combination
  • Zero electrical faults reported during the first 6 months of operation

The client’s Project Director reported: “The modular units exceeded our expectations in build quality and thermal comfort. We have since placed a follow-up order for an additional 24 units for our Phase 2 expansion.”
